December 10, 1941. Three days after Pearl Harbor, 6 British Ships were returning back to Singapore when Struck. Because they had no Air Cover, they were sitting ducks. Two ships were Sunk. they were HMS Prince of Wales and HMS Repulse.


"The sinking of the two ships virtually annhilated the Eastern Fleet in Singapore. The remaining ships played no further part in the campaign as they were withdrawn to Java soon after. The Japanese convoy was never confronted again in any major action following the sinkings until Singapore fell."
